ToothHelper System Description & User Service Agreement
Last revised: January 30, 2026
This system is an intelligent oral health platform designed to assist users with oral health screening and AI-assisted identification using artificial intelligence.
Before using this system, please read and understand the following terms carefully:
1. Limitations of AI-Assisted Results & Disclaimer
Any analysis results or automatic annotations provided by this system are for research, health screening, and clinical reference only. They have no legal effect and do not constitute formal medical diagnosis.
Not a substitute for medical diagnosis:
AI model outputs are limited by training data coverage, capture angle, lighting, and image resolution. The system cannot replace in-person clinical examination by licensed practitioners. Any disease diagnosis or treatment decisions must be made by qualified dental professionals.
Possibility of error:
Deep learning models may produce false positives or false negatives. Users should not take medical actions or purchase medications solely based on this system’s results.
Risk assumption:
The system and its development team are not legally liable for consequences arising from users’ blind reliance on system results, including delayed treatment or incorrect decisions.
2. Data Privacy & Security Policy
We recognize the sensitivity of health data. The ToothHelper platform strictly complies with applicable laws and regulations.
2.1 Data De-identification
The system promptly identifies and removes personally identifiable information from images, following a “minimal data retention” principle.
2.2 Encrypted Transmission & Storage
Transmission security
All data between client and server is encrypted via SSL/TLS.
Storage security
Server-side encryption follows industry standards; original images cannot be viewed without authorization.
2.3 Data Use Restrictions
- To provide you with real-time AI-assisted identification
- With your explicit consent, as anonymized training data to improve model accuracy
✓ We will never sell or share your raw health data with any third party for commercial purposes
2.4 User Control
You may request account closure at any time and require permanent deletion of all uploaded images and related identification history.
3. User Conduct & Responsibility
Image quality:
Users must ensure uploaded intraoral images are clear and not heavily obscured. Users bear responsibility for identification errors caused by blurry or poor-quality images.
Legal compliance:
You may not use this system to upload images that violate laws, infringe others’ privacy, or contain inappropriate content.
Professional use:
When used in a clinic or hospital setting, operators should be qualified medical professionals and must review and confirm AI outputs before relying on them.
4. Technical Support & Updates
ToothHelper is under continuous development. As algorithms improve, identification accuracy will increase. If you discover logic errors or security issues, please contact our development team.
Developer note: This document clarifies that the AI tool is an assistive instrument and that human clinicians remain central to decision-making. Protecting privacy is both a legal requirement and a core principle of biomedical engineering ethics.
